Shamark Plastics is a dynamic injection moulding business,
that manufactures a variety of plastic products ranging from Swimming Pool
and Spa to specialized mining plastic parts all custom made with care and
personal attention managed by an experienced team. Shamark Plastics has
been a proud and trusted partner to Quality Pool and Spa products and Waterlinx
Pool and Spa for over 15 years and have consistently delivered a diverse
range of high quality product to the Pool and Spa trade.
Our Swimming Pool range includes a variety of pump bodies, weirs, lights,
fittings, unions, valves, filters, solar heating components and many pool
accessories. We also mould a comprehensive range of pool maintenance equipment
including brushes, leaf rakes, 8 wheel sweepers, Hi Vac sweepers, skimmers,
etc.
Our spa range includes a new high performance self draining pump along with
a newly developed range of jets, fittings, bellows, lights, cartridge filters,
heater casings, air controls , air buttons, blower motors and accessories.
Most spa products are offered in either traditional 50 – 32mm format
or an innovative easy to install 20 – 10mm barbed connection system.
Complimentary to the pool and spa installations are various wired electrical
boxes that have IP55 rating and regulatory compliance certificates. Electrical
boxes are fitted with a 24 hour timer and a battery operated time reserve
of 150 hours. The electrical DB is designed for ease of convenience and
with timer set will save home owners electricity and money.
The company continues to innovate and develop new product, our LED lights
with 10,000 hour life time are substantially more efficient than the standard
incandescent sealed beam light which only has 600 hours life. The amount
of electricity (wattage) used on the LED light is 4.2 watts per hour which
is significantly less than the wattage drawn on the standard light of 125
watts per hour.
Other Custom moulding includes, sanitary products, toilet seats, plumbing
fittings and some specialized mining products. We are able to assist with
development and production of specialized products for all industries, we
have been active in developing and moulding a number of products ranging
from simple profiles to complex large products.
Our facility has a comprehensive range of machines ranging from 75ton to
650ton, we are able to run shot weights up to approximately 6Kg, we have
the ability to work with many materials including, ABS (Acrylanitrile Butadiene
Styrene), ABS-Polycarbonate Alloy, Acetal (POM), PMMA, Acrylic, Nylon 6,
Nylon 6-6, Nylon 11, PBT Polyester (Polybutylene Terepthalate), LCP (Polyester
Liquid Crystal Polymer), PP, Polypropylene, PC, Polycarbonate, Polyimide
(Thermoplastic) (Aurum), PPO Modified Polyphenylene Oxide (Noryl), PPS Polyphenylene
Sulfide, Polysulfone.
Through close partnership with our toolmakers and developers we are able
to offer both turnkey solutions and cooperative new product development
from concept to production.
