UTP's Hot Base Solution is a high-performance mould base platform that combines a standard or custom machined mould base with a Hot Half Hot-Runner System from Heatlock.
It is an individually engineered platform - fully designed to the specifications of the user - and is completely flexible, it can easily be equipped with high-end UTP components and accessories as well as precision inserts manufactured by UTP. UTP offers its customers quick and precise deep hole drilling of cooling channels at very competitive prices. Water channels are drilled using single lip gun-drills with internal cooling using oil at 100 bar pressure, ensuring very accurate drilling and straightness of the bores.
As an additional service UTP can also machine the countersunk bores to protect the water connectors and tap the required BSP threads.
